Welcome! I'm Micah Pendleton-Hicks, and I'm excited to invite you to my bright and comfortable learning hub.
Here, I provide specialised support for A Level Psychology students, alongside essential study skills applicable to any course.
Whether you prefer one-to-one sessions or small groups of up to three, I'm here to help you make progress and achieve your goals in a welcoming environment.
About Me & UnLimitEd
I have taught in mainstream schools, colleges and Sixth Forms for 15 years, with a further 5 years working with young people in other educational settings, including Alternative Provisions and PRU's.

Recently, until August 2024, I was employed at Abbeygate Sixth Form College teaching Psychology. I know from personal experience how amazing, knowledgeable and hard working all the teachers are. However, large class sizes and many extra responsibilities outside of the classroom limit the attention and support that they may be able to provide during and outside of lessons.

Currently, I am working part time for an amazing organisation, Pushforward. They support young people from KS1 up to KS5 who are unable to access mainstream education due to social, emotional, behavioural and/or mental health needs. At the Post-16 centre, where I work, we provide sessions in small groups for learners to achieve qualifications in English and Maths, as well as Employability Skills.
My extensive experience allows me to adapt my approach to provide an individualised service to meet each student's needs and requirements.

Please see About page for more details on my training and qualifications.

Testimonials
Parent
I highly recommend Micah as a Psychology tutor. My daughter was really lacking in confidence in many areas of her A Level studies and after just a few sessions with Micah she is thriving and confident.
Micah’s enthusiasm for her subject, knowledge of content and warm, calm personality make her a fantastic tutor. I highly recommend her!!
Former Student - Currently Studying Psychology at Leicester University
Micah was so passionate in her teaching which was inspiring to me as a student wanting to learn.
Micah cared about every student's needs and adapted her teaching to accommodate and fulfil a students needs.
She started my love for psychology and kept topics fun interesting and interactive, so much so that I still remember studies and theories to this day!
Current Psychology Student at Abbeygate
Micah has really helped me to grow my confidence and my knowledge in psychology and has made a huge difference in my learning, I highly recommend her tutoring sessions!
She creates a kind, welcoming environment to encourage me to overcome any challenging topics and I always feel so much more confident after going through them together and answering practice questions.
